The dress is really cute, but this coverup is more of a dress than a swimsuit cover. Fitted like a dress with narrow shoulders and neck, making it difficult for my daughter to get on and off by herself. Also there is no hood. I don't know why it is described as housed. Material is also not ideal for the beach. The terry cloth does not want to give up the sand! It is cute and will be added to her back to school clothes, just not functional for the beach.
